Girls Christmas Party

The last weeks before Christmas are always busy with work and Christmas Partys, that is why Dani and i had no time to take pics of our styles this weekend..

On friday we were invited from our dear friend Nadine to a Girls Christmas Party at Yvonne’s place.

(Dani couldn’t be there, because she had a Christmas party in Düsseldorf)

Nadine cooked a really delicious Christmas menu for 9 girls..

It was so much fun! Especially meeting friends from Hamburg and London i haven’t seen for month!!!

After lots of girls talk and the tasty dinner we went out clubbing.

Thank you Girls for a really special pre-christmas night!

Wish u a peaceful 4th Advent today!

Fitting

Yesterday was the Fitting deadline for my self sewed skirt.

As you can see in the pictures I constructed a pattern by myself.

First I had to create the Miniskirt which is placed under the long above it.

I constructed the Mini skirt out of a basis skirt and then lowered the waistline.

For the floor-length skirt I started to extend my basis skirt pattern and than divided it into 3 pieces, so that i can cut it, to open the pattern up. That is why the long skirt gets equal volume in it.

A facing holds the two skirts together and a zipper is placed in the back.

The skirt for the Fitting date is made out of untreated cotton (mini skirt), and the floor-length skirt is made out of Jersey.

.....And than in the eeend after hours of working... my docent examined the skirt and i got the signature..jjiippiieh..!

Now i can finally start to sew it in the fabrics i like.<3

Can’t find nothing cheaper than my credit score

Last weeks have been very busy for Julia and Me. So, finding a day, on which we both had time, was quite hard.

But I am glad, last Friday, we were able to meet up and spend some time together.

Actually, we planned to do some Christmas shopping, but as we are both total shopping addicts, it seemed we just bought some presents for ourselves.

Of course we also stopped by at Mathab’s store, where I finally bought the clean, white blouse from Victoria Beckham. Julia bought really cool boyfriend jeans from Closed and a very eye-catching orange purse from Abro.

Later that day, we were invited to Atelier, a store to watch for every cologne fashion lover, male and female. 

Atelier sells amazing brands like 5Preview, Suit, Hope, or one of our favourite brands Acne. 

Acne was also the reason we were invited to the store, as we could have an exclusive first look on the spring collection of the brand. Of course I could not simply stop by without buying anything.

So I finally, bought the acne pistol boots, after waiting one year. I am so in love with my own pistol boots and still can’t believe I finally have them :D

But of course we could have bought a lot more. However, besides the great clothes, the atmosphere of the store and the clean, simple and white styled interior is definitely worth a visit.

In the end, with almost no money left, I am happy that we still made it to buy, some, or most of the Christmas presents. So we really feel more relaxed and prepared for Christmas!

New Week, New Challenges

Today we started our Semester Project for the subjects manufacturing technique and editing technique.

First we had to do a technical drawing of the skirt, and check whether it is possible to assemble for a 1st semester ;-))

Than we started to develop the pattern in 1:1.

I decided to do a short mini skirt with a long transparent skirt over it. (it will be black, of course<3)

First fitting date is next monday..so lots of work to do.. 

i m very excited to see the result, and i hope you are too:-)
